Job summary

U.S. Bank’s Independent Risk Review & Assessment (IRRA) team seeks a seasoned professional to evaluate operational risks, controls, and processes across a leading financial institution.

You will collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Audit and business units to identify risks and drive meaningful improvements. Join a team that partners across the organization to strengthen risk management practices, communicate insights to senior stakeholders, and support reviews from planning through issue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, Controls, or a related field.
• Knowledge of operational risk management and financial services.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CAMS, CRCM, etc.) are a plus.

• Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, Controls, or a related field.
• Knowledge of operational risk management and financial services.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CAMS, CRCM, etc.) are a plus.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
