Job summary

BFF Bank S.p.A. in Łódź is seeking an Operational Risk Management Specialist to identify and assess operational risk across products, processes, projects and IT systems. You will analyze business processes and prepare risk-based recommendations for improvements.

The role requires a degree in finance or related areas, at least 1 year of risk experience, strong Excel skills, and English language proficiency. You will join an international company with supportive HR onboarding.

Qualifications

• An academic degree in finance or related areas.
• At least 1 year of experience in management of operational risk.
• Interest in data analysis, willingness to build quantitative skills.
• Knowledge of European regulations on operational risk management and Basel II/III capital requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identification and assessment of operational risk in products, processes, projects and IT systems.
• Conduct analyses of business processes and issue risk-based recommendations.
• Collect and report incidents and evaluate required provisions.
• Control the self-assessment process for operational risk.
• Prepare reporting and materials for senior management.
• Develop methodology for provisions calculations and risk management as a control function.
• Determine acceptable risk appetite level and measurement methods.
