Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist to lead the deployment of The Maersk Way (TMW) across Customs operations in the NEC Area. You will collaborate with Operations, Product, Digital, and Area leadership to drive continuous improvement and deliver scalable solutions that create lasting business impact.

You will coach frontline teams, manage change across matrices, and ensure initiatives are practical and tech-enabled.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Customs operations or Customs management.
• Strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean, or Continuous Improvement.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading change and influencing stakeholders across matrix organizations.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with structured project management methodologies (PMI or PRINCE2) is an advantage.

What you'll bring

• A proven track record of delivering measurable business improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading change and influencing stakeholders across matrix organizations.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Experience with structured project management methodologies (such as PMI or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
