Job summary

Text is seeking a Product Designer to own end-to-end design of omnichannel channel experiences, including WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, SMS, and more. You will translate API-driven constraints into simple, reliable experiences, partnering with PMs and engineers to ship designs that drive engagement and growth.

You will lead research, prototyping, and verification against real APIs, ensuring patterns are consistent, and the design system remains healthy across channels.

Qualifications

• Have UI/UX focus with strong UI foundation.
• Able to distill insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• Proficient in translating insights into actionable design strategies and visual boards.

Responsibilities

• Own the channel experience end-to-end: design how customers connect, configure, and manage messaging channels inside Text—from setup to daily use.
• Lead the design process: manage the entire design lifecycle from research to pixel-perfect execution.
• Design for reliability: create clear patterns for errors, statuses, and edge cases across channels.
• Keep the design system healthy: maintain Figma files as a trustworthy source of truth.
• Identify growth opportunities: anticipate user needs and align with channel partners' changes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering: partner with PMs and engineers for design decisions.
• Leverage data and insights: validate hypotheses with product analytics and user feedback.
