Job summary

Infosys Limited in Poland is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to ensure employee safety through risk assessments, audits, and training. You will monitor compliance with safety procedures and collaborate with the HSE team to identify improvements, while ensuring adherence to Polish labour law and internal OHS standards.

The role requires a degree in OHS, strong knowledge of legislation, and experience in internal OHS audits and training.

Qualifications

• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Professional experience in an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist role or a similar position.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to conduct occupational health and safety training.
• Experience in conducting internal OHS audits.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and make sound decisions in critical situations.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems supporting occupational health and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee safety in the workplace by conducting occupational risk assessments and analyses.
• Perform workplace environment measurements and maintain records and reports related to occupational health and safety.
• Organize and deliver occupational health and safety training.
• Monitor employees’ compliance with safety procedures and cooperate with the HSE team to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct occupational health and safety audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
• Cooperate with relevant occupational health and safety authorities to ensure compliance with Polish labour law and OHS requirements.
• Investigate workplace accidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures to reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future.
• Promote and strengthen the company’s safety culture by raising employee awareness of safety policies and encouraging safe workplace practices
