Job summary

Infosys in Poland is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to ensure workplace safety, implement risk assessments, and lead safety trainings. The role works within the HSE framework to uphold Polish OHS standards while supporting continuous improvement across business units.

You will audit compliance, liaise with authorities, and promote a strong safety culture, collaborating with teams to identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Experience in an OHS Specialist role or similar.
• Solid knowledge of Polish OHS laws and standards.
• Ability to deliver OHS training.
• Experience conducting internal OHS audits.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Team player capable of quick decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational risk assessments and analyses to ensure safety.
• Conduct workplace measurements and maintain health and safety records.
• Organize and deliver OHS training for staff.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and collaborate with HSE teams.
• Carry out OHS audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with authorities to meet Polish labour law requirements.

• Ensure employee safety in the workplace by conducting occupational risk assessments and analyses.
• Perform workplace environment measurements and maintain records and reports related to occupational health and safety.
• Organize and deliver occupational health and safety training.
• Monitor employees’ compliance with safety procedures and cooperate with the HSE team to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct occupational health and safety audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
• Cooperate with relevant occupational health and safety authorities to ensure compliance with Polish labour law and OHS requirements.
• Investigate workplace accidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures to reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future.
• Promote and strengthen the company’s safety culture by raising employee awareness of safety policies and encouraging safe workplace practices

Requirements

• University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Professional experience in an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist role or a similar position.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to conduct occupational health and safety training.
• Experience in conducting internal OHS audits.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and make sound decisions in critical situations.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems supporting occupational health and safety management.
