Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support offshore wind construction and commissioning activities in Poland, with a focus on offshore substations (OSS). The role involves day-to-day HSE support, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with project procedures and industry standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of HSE experience in renewables or offshore wind, NEBOSH Level 3, and Full GWO qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HSE experience in onshore renewables or offshore wind
• Experience supporting the commissioning of offshore substations
• NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent
• Full GWO qualifications
• Chester Step fitness-to-work assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE support during offshore construction and commissioning activities.
• Support the safe commissioning of offshore substations and associated works.
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with project HSE procedures, legislation and industry standards.
• Work closely with project teams and third-party contractors to ensure HSE requirements are understood and implemented.
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, safety meetings, inspections and site safety walks.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and identify unsafe conditions and areas for improvement.
• Support reporting, investigation and follow-up of incidents, near misses and observations.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Assist with corrective and preventive actions and ensure close-out.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports and records.
• Promote a strong and proactive safety culture across the project.
• Use project HSE reporting systems and tools, including Synergi where applicable.
