Roche Holding AG is seeking a Tech Lead for Application Observability to shape the technical strategy and deliver scalable, secure observability solutions. You will mentor senior engineers, advance IaC and CI/CD practices, and drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/SE.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development, DevOps/DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years in regulated pharma/healthcare tech is strongly preferred.
• Geo-distributed engineering leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical vision, architecture roadmap, and high-level design for the Application Observability platform.
• Lead observability capabilities deployment and promote Open Telemetry standards.
• Oversee IaC (Terraform, Vault, Ansible) and automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Mentor senior engineers and geo-distributed team members, fostering learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, MSPs/vendors to align technical work with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and security standards in healthcare domains.
