GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure/Systems Observability Engineer (DevOps) for Poland to design, implement, and automate monitoring of compute infrastructure. You will build exporters in Go and Python, manage Prometheus data collection, and deliver production dashboards in Grafana.

The role emphasizes reliability, SLIs/SLOs, and collaboration with software engineers to optimize performance, troubleshoot OS-level issues, and ensure scalable observability across hardware environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with Linux/SRE experience.
• Strong Linux administration, Go, Python, and Perl automation experience.
• Experience with Prometheus exporters, PromQL, and Grafana dashboards.
• Deep understanding of systemd, networking, and system logging.

Aufgaben

• Configure, automate, and maintain Prometheus exporters and telemetry agents across bare-metal Compute hosts and Linux environments.
• Develop custom metrics exporters, diagnostic scripts, and systems automation tools using Go, Python, and Perl.
• Build, optimize, and maintain Grafana dashboards and PromQL alert rules to deliver real-time visibility into system states and performance.
• Troubleshoot OS-level service degradation, systemd unit dependencies, and performance bottlenecks across compute hardware using metrics data.
• Validate infrastructure health, service metrics, and telemetry data reliability for core compute environments; partner with software engineering to resolve bottlenecks and improve observability.
