Job summary

GE Vernova in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a qualified engineer to join the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis team. You will perform plant thermal-hydraulic safety analyses for two-phase TH, supporting reload and design applications for BWR plants and related projects globally.

Responsibilities include TH evaluations in ECCS LOCA and containment, collaborating with mechanical, core, licensing, and systems teams; documenting data, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to training and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical) from an accredited college or university.
• MS Degree in Nuclear Engineering with experience in T/H modeling as applied to nuclear reactor systems.
• Experience in T-H Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant TH safety analyses for ECCS LOCA and Containment.
• Support reload analyses and fuel-issue investigations.
• Collaborate with design, licensing, and systems teams.
• Document and present technical data to customers.
• Mentor team members and develop procedures.
• Lead process improvements for speed and simplicity.
• Deliver training for internal and external audiences.
