Job summary

GE Vernova in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Nuclear Fuel Engineer to contribute to BWR fuel reload licensing and cycle management under the mentorship of a team of high-performing engineers.

The role involves providing innovative licensing and design solutions that meet customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory guidelines, with opportunities for direct customer-facing collaboration and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related science field.
• Advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering preferred.
• Experience with NRC regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to solve complex problems
• Execute analysis and design calculations to support operating reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle management
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers; document and communicate results of technical data generated
• Maintain and/or exceed baseline project schedule and cost in the delivery of nuclear fuel reload engineering deliverables
• Share information and promote open dialogue, including working effectively in a matrixed team environment
• Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards
• Partner with Commercial Account Managers (CAMs), interface with customer technical personnel, and manage reload projects across the Fuels organization
• Engage in continuous professional development
