Job summary

GlobalLogic is hiring a Test Engineer in Kraków to develop, verify, and maintain cellular base station software for satellite communications. You will design end-to-end test strategies, implement automation, and troubleshoot defects across hardware and software environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Test Engineer in telecom software.
• Experience with Linux, GIT and Jira.
• Knowledge of 4G/5G architectures and 3GPP protocols.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Analyse feature requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on system specification documents.
• Formulate and document end-to-end feature test strategies for NTN capabilities.
• Integrate and verify software features in a customer‑close test lab with real hardware and radio components.
• Design, implement, and maintain test automation scripts for solution products.
• Troubleshoot software defects by pre-analysis of fault reports, collecting system traces, analyzing log files, and validating fixes.
• Collaborate with System Architecture, Software Development, and Customer Support teams.
• Define, establish and optimise testing processes.
• Support demonstrations, customer pilots, and field trials within verification domains.
• Participate in technical work planning and workload estimation.
• Assist in laboratory setup and routine maintenance.
• Review customer technical documentation for verification accuracy.
