Job summary

Dandelion Health Inc is seeking a Healthcare Data Scientist to build NLP and ML pipelines for abstracting data from diverse clinical sources. You will join a team that curates AI-ready datasets and works across the organization to support patient phenotyping and rapid AI analyses.

You will develop methods for multimodal data and ensure high data quality while communicating insights to technical and clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in quantitative field or B.S. with 5+ years in data science.
• Experience with clinical/healthcare data is a strong bonus.
• Fluency in Python and SQL; familiarity with ML/NLP libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop NLP, LLM and ML pipelines to abstract labels from text-based health data.
• Query EMRs and reports to build high-quality analytical datasets.
• Own data extraction, wrangling, labeling and QC for analytical datasets.
• Stay current on applied NLP and generative AI methods.
• Support design, validation and merging of multimodal data structures.
• Develop code and documentation for HIPAA-compliant data products.
• Identify and resolve problems; ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide support for the technical product team and communicate findings.
• Summarize complex methods and results for diverse audiences.
