Job summary

Mossakowski Medical Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw seeks a researcher to join the Department of Neurooncology. The candidate will work on projects involving circular RNAs in breast cancer brain metastasis, CMV-associated tumor neovascularization, and HSV-based immunotherapy for glioblastoma.

The role includes designing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to grant applications, with opportunities to develop 3D models and multi-omics approaches.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in medicine, biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
• At least five years of laboratory experience, including cell culture, and experience in small-animal surgery.
• Hands-on experience with PCR/qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and fluorescence/confocal microscopy.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, and conduct experiments using cell and tissue cultures, animal models, and patient-derived material.
• Perform molecular, biochemical, histological, and microscopy analyses and help introduce methods needed for the projects.
• Analyze and present results, prepare research reports, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
• Contribute to grant applications and the delivery of funded projects per requirements.
• Participate in departmental and Institute seminars, training, and collaboration.
