Job summary

Ricoh is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to operate and support our global security infrastructure from Warsaw. You will handle incidents, changes, and service requests, providing 24/7 on-call coverage and ensuring high-availability of data-center security services.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with major vendors (Juniper, Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto, Cisco) and a strong troubleshooting mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network/security engineering (enterprise environments).
• Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX, Fortinet Firewalls/Proxy, and F5 LTM.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing & switching in data center environments.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, authentication systems, and load balancing.
• Fluent English and ability to work in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support network security infrastructure in a data center environment.
• Handle incidents, changes, and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Provide 24/7 support (on-call rotation: 1 week per month).
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Convert high-level designs into technical configurations.
• Manage vendor communication and escalations.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, approvals, and processes.

What you will be doing

Requirements

You will ideally have

• 8+ years of experience in network/security engineering (enterprise environments)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  Juniper (SRX)
  Fortinet (Firewalls & Proxy)
  F5 (LTM, preferably with cloud/WAF exposure)
• TCP/IP, routing & switching (data center / service provider environments)
• Firewalls, VPNs, authentication systems, load balancing
• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting mindset
• Palo Alto, Cisco, CheckPoint, Arista, Meinberg
• Fluent English and ability to work in international teams
