Job description

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Network Security Administrator/Administrator to join our team responsible for the maintenance of IT infrastructure at a public sector client.

Your tasks

• Administration and configuration of firewalls (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco FP) to ensure security and access control in the corporate network
• Monitoring and management of security policies
• Configuration, optimization and maintenance of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) in complex enterprise networks
• Implementing solutions that automate the configuration, management and monitoring of network devices using tools such as Ansible, AWX and Terraform
• Using monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Elastic Stack to continuously monitor network infrastructure performance and detect and resolve network availability and performance issues
• Implementing and managing network security policies, ensuring data integrity and protecting against network attacks
• Support the design, implementation and maintenance of network solutions that meet performance, scalability and security requirements
• Prepare and update documentation on network device configurations, security policies, emergency procedures and network architecture diagrams
• Work with other teams to ensure consistency and security of the overall IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the area of enterprise-class network infrastructure administration
• Proficiency in the firewalling area (Palo Alto, checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco FP)
• Hands‑on architectural, implementation and administrative skills in the aforementioned areas
• Knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols
• Ability to work with automation tools (ansible, awx, terraform), infrastructure and systems monitoring (zabbix, elastic stack)
• Knowledge of IT security issues
• Fluent in spoken and written Polish
• Residence in Poland required
