Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Network Planner for our Thetford Plant. You will evaluate materials, manage inventory levels, release production orders, and coordinate builds to ensure customer orders are delivered on time.

Responsibilities include coordinating with plant schedulers, demand planners, and cross‑functional teams to mitigate supply risks, monitor performance, and support financial forecasting. Hybrid on-site work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain functions including warehousing, distribution and logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to decide when to deep dive.
• Proven collaboration and management skills in a diverse, matrix organization.
• Basic project-management skills and lean/continuous improvement knowledge.
• Procurement planning to optimize inventory via reorder point, lead time and safety stock.
• Experience with demand and operations planning processes.
• Understanding of financial impact of supply-chain activity, incl. profitability and service level.

Network Planner – Baxter Thetford Plant

As a Network Planner for our Baxter Thetford Plant you will evaluate materials and resource availability in a timely manner, be responsible for inventory levels, release production orders as needed, coordinate builds and provide status updates to management. You will play a key role within the supply chain to use your knowledge of planning and inventory management to ensure Baxter customer orders are delivered accurately and according to schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulate and communicate short to mid‑term tactical plans that balance supply and demand
• Align transfer orders to demand and send to ERP and/or local shipping system for execution
• Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, decrease or postpone orders if necessary
• Apply scenario planning and collaboration, demonstrating rapid response functionality and tools
• Collaborate with Plant Schedulers, Demand planners, W&D, Market Planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial and Manufacturing to resolve supply risks and issues
• Lead OPLAN review with key partners
• Support the Network manager with regional and/or Global SI&OP input
• Monitor supply chain performance, review and approve planning parameters, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Be accountable for achieving inventory targets
• Provide input to financial planning and forecasting processes

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management – warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service or inventory planning
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain preferred but not essential
• Strong analytical skills and ability to determine when to deep dive
• Proven collaboration and management skills, including influencing, communication, and negotiation in a geographically diverse, matrix organization
• Basic project‑management skills and lean/continuous improvement knowledge
• Procurement planning expertise – in‑depth understanding of how to control inventory levels based on reorder point, lead time and safety stock
• Experience with demand, sales and operations planning
• Understanding of the financial impact of supply‑chain activity including profitability, turns, service level and inventory control
• Solutions driven with ability to simplify complex situations and drive speedy optimal business scenario planning and decision making

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The minimum salary for this position is 136 000,00 PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses and/or long‑term incentive.
