Job summary

emagine seeks an experienced Network Consultant to design and implement network infrastructures in diverse environments. The role involves on-site assessments and travel across the Tri-city region, with strong emphasis on wireless design, security and documentation.

The ideal candidate has Cisco CCNP Enterprise/Security, ITIL knowledge, and hands-on experience with enterprise wireless deployment and Cisco Catalyst Center, plus ability to engage stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Must have university degree in CS, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise / Security is required.
• Experience in enterprise wireless design and deployment (WLCs, APs, RF planning, wireless security).
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundation or similar frameworks.
• Proficient in physical, virtual and hybrid network environments.
• Experience with enterprise wireless design and deployment.
• Expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center).
• Ability to read and validate local network documentation and analyze requirements.

• Having a solid business process understanding, allowing you to engage in dialogue with your business owners

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Cisco ISE (advantage).
• Knowledge of SolarWinds Orion NMS (advantage).
• Experience with Panorama centralized management.
• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or equivalent (nice to have).
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum / Lean methodologies (is a plus)

Other Details

Start time is as soon as possible. This is a full-time position based in the Tri-city area, with an expectation to be in the office approximately 50% of the time.
