Job summary

Wyser Sp. z o.o. seeks an experienced Operations / Sales Director to lead the transformation of an omnichannel retail business with a nationwide store network and growing e-commerce channel. The role combines hands-on leadership in the field with strong analytical, margin-focused decision making.

The position reports to the CEO as part of the Leadership Team, with responsibility for optimizing performance, cost base, and operating model across the network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a comparable role (Operations Director / Head of Operations or similar) in a multi-site retail organization.
• Proven experience managing dispersed field structures; team leadership of <10 direct reports.
• Strong command of operational and commercial KPIs; ability to decide based on data and financial impact.
• Mature leadership: setting standards, driving accountability, developing managers, executing through others.
• Hands-on mindset; willingness to travel frequently to stores.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end operational leadership of a nationwide retail store network with hands-on execution.
• Full accountability for sales performance and network profitability.
• Manage a dispersed operating structure across several regions; lead a team of <10 direct reports.
• Translate strategy into store-level execution and foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Monitor and improve core operational and commercial KPIs (e.g., LFL sales, EBITDA, labour costs).
• Drive improvements in stock-related KPIs including accuracy and shrink.
• Identify underperforming locations and recommend turnaround actions (relocation/closure).
• Support expansion: assess location potential and roll out operating standards.
• Lead cost optimization projects: store OPEX, external services, maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with Commercial, HR, Finance, Marketing, Logistics and Visual Merchandising.
• Provide regular performance reporting and data-driven recommendations to CEO/Leadership Team.
