Job summary

Tremend, the hub for Publicis Sapient, seeks an experienced Murex Control-M Developer in Poznań to design, implement, and support automated workflows for Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office operations.

You will ensure reliable end-of-day, start-of-day, and intraday processing, collaborating with Murex teams, infrastructure, and application support to optimize scheduling and data transfers across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Murex MX.3 batch processing.
• Proficient in Control-M scheduling and workflow automation.
• Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and batch processing.
• Knowledge of production support and incident management.

Job Description

Experienced Murex Control-M Developer with strong expertise in scheduling, automation, and batch processing within the Murex MX.3 environment. Skilled in designing, implementing, and supporting automated workflows for Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office processes, ensuring reliable end-of-day (EOD), start-of-day (SOD), and intraday operations across financial trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Control-M job scheduling solutions supporting Murex MX.3 environments.


• Develop and manage automated batch processes for End-of-Day (EOD), Start-of-Day (SOD), market data loading, valuation, and reporting.


• Configure and maintain job dependencies, calendars, alerts, notifications, and recovery procedures.


• Monitor daily production schedules and resolve batch failures to ensure timely business processing.


• Work closely with Murex functional teams, infrastructure, and application support teams to optimize scheduling processes.


• Implement and support file transfers, interface automation, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.


• Perform root cause analysis of scheduling issues and implement preventive improvements.


• Support production releases, deployments, and migration of Control-M jobs across environments.


• Develop operational documentation, scheduling procedures, and disaster recovery processes.


• Participate in production support and provide on-call support for critical batch processing.
