Job summary

Tremend in Poznań seeks an experienced Murex Ctrl M Developer – Manager to lead scheduling and automation in Energy & Commodities. You will design and support automated workflows for EOD/SOD and intraday operations within Murex MX.3, coordinating with Front, Middle and Back Office teams.

The role emphasizes reliability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of batch processes, with close collaboration across infrastructure and application support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Murex MX.3 batch processing and scheduling.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and data workflows.
• Ability to design and automate batch workflows across Front/Middle/Back Office.
• Experience configuring calendars, dependencies, alerts and recovery procedures.
• Proven track record resolving batch failures and improving reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Control-M scheduling solutions for Murex MX.3.
• Automate End-of-Day (EOD), Start-of-Day (SOD) and intraday processes.
• Manage dependencies, calendars, alerts, and recovery procedures.
• Monitor daily production schedules and resolve batch issues to ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with Murex functional teams, infra and support teams to optimize scheduling.
• Implement file transfers and interface automation with upstream/downstream systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of scheduling issues and implement preventive measures.
• Support production releases and migrations of Control-M jobs across environments.
• Create operational docs and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide on-call support for critical batch processing.
