Job summary

Tremend, part of Publicis Sapient, is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement Murex FLEX-based solutions within the MX.3 platform. You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Analysts to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

You will contribute to development, integration, and performance tuning, ensuring best practices and robust release processes in a fast-paced environment. Tremend offers growth and open feedback culture.

Qualifications

• Murex MX.3 FLEX Development experience.
• Experience with the Murex Development Framework.
• Strong Java and Oracle SQL skills.
• Unix/Linux proficiency is required.
• Experience with MxML, XML, REST APIs and FIX.
• Understanding of Trade Lifecycle Processing.
• Familiar with integration development and performance tuning.
• Source control using Git; Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Murex FLEX solutions.
• Translate business requirements to technical solutions with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Analysts.
• Develop interfaces between Murex and external systems using REST, FIX, XML.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of FLEX components.
• Support trade lifecycle processing, pricing, risk calculations, and reporting.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
• Create design documents and development specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Murex best practices and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using Murex FLEX within the MX.3 platform.
• Develop business logic, workflow customizations, screens, and processing enhancements using FLEX APIs and Murex development framework.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and support interfaces between Murex and external systems using MxML, XML, REST APIs, FIX, and messaging technologies.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of FLEX components.
• Support trade lifecycle processing, pricing, risk calculations, and reporting enhancements.
• Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for business-critical applications.
• Produce technical design documents, development specifications, and support documentation.
• Ensure development follows Murex best practices, coding standards, and release management processes.
