Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking an experienced Murex Test Manager to lead testing activities on large-scale Murex implementation and upgrade projects.

You will define testing strategies, design MxTest test cases and regression packs, and coordinate SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, and Reporting.

This role offers exposure to global Capital Markets programs and collaboration with senior architects and developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing within Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3.
• Proven experience working with MxTest.
• Experience managing SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of the Murex trade lifecycle.
• Experience working on Murex implementation or upgrade programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall Murex testing strategy across multiple workstreams.
• Design, develop, and maintain MxTest test cases and reusable regression packs.
• Build comprehensive test coverage across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Market Data, Interfaces, and Reporting modules.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, and dress rehearsal activities.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements and test scenarios.
• Manage test execution, defect lifecycle, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, SMEs, and Business Users throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support production cutover, post‑release validation, and hypercare activities.
• Promote testing best practices and continuously improve testing processes and automation.

We are currently looking for an experienced Murex Test Manager with hands‑on expertise in MxTest to join large-scale Murex implementation and upgrade projects. This is an opportunity to play a key role in defining testing strategies, building reusable test assets, and ensuring the quality of one of the world's leading Capital Markets platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Murex Test Manager, you will lead testing activities across Murex implementation, upgrade, and transformation programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Define and execute the overall Murex testing strategy across multiple workstreams.
• Design, develop, and maintain MxTest test cases and reusable regression packs.
• Build comprehensive test coverage across Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Market Data, Interfaces, and Reporting modules.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, and dress rehearsal activities.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Commodities, FX, Rates, Equities, or Credit products.
• Knowledge of Murex modules such as Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Reporting, Interfaces, or Market Data.
• Experience with test automation.
• SQL and Unix knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• Experience coordinating distributed testing teams.
