Job summary

Evolution is an award-winning company with a Warsaw office-based Motion Designer role. You will join the Product Design Department, delivering high-quality motion graphics to enhance UI and gameplay, collaborating with a diverse, international team.

You will work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and developers to animate engaging game visuals, proofs of concept, and final assets for implementation while staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in motion design with a strong portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in animation or related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with Jira in an Agile environment.
• Excellent English communication.

Job Description

The Motion Designer will be part of the Product Design Department and will report to the UI/UX Design Manager. It is expected that you will engage in visual motion and interactive design in our products. You should be able to deliver high quality and timely execution animated solutions and should be eager to push boundaries to achieve the most effective results by collaborating in brainstorming sessions as part of an international team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations to enhance the UI, making the games more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing.
• Produce visual interactive outcomes to improve visual feedback clarification during game actions.
• Create animations with visual cues to guide the player's attention.
• Design beautiful, functional, and cohesive visual animations aligned with our games and brand consistency.
• Actively contribute to design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, managers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define more engaging and attractive games, providing visual storytelling.
• Prepare final assets and specifications for development and oversee implementation to ensure quality execution.
• Present concepts, animated visuals, and enhancement of insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively in an agile environment, supporting the team in fast‑paced delivery cycles.
• Stay up to date on motion design trends, tools, and industry best practices.
• Operate independently or as part of a team while contributing to a positive, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in motion design or similar creative role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful motion graphics and animation work (B2B experience is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in animation or related to the design field.
• Deep expertise in motion graphics and animation.
• Strong understanding of animation principles.
• Experience working in agile environments with tools such as Jira.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication in English (advanced level required).

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of Spine or Rive is a plus.
• Experience with Figma is a plus.
• Experience in the iGaming / Gaming industry is a plus.
