Job summary

PAYBACK is seeking a Tech Lead to lead a mobile engineering team (iOS and/or Android) in a hybrid setup in Warsaw. You will own the full mobile lifecycle, drive architecture evolution, and ensure high performance and user experience across platforms.

Ideal candidate has strong hands-on iOS/Android experience, knowledge of MVVM/Clean Architecture, and proficiency in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring. Collaboration with Product, Design, SRE, and Security is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead in Agile mobile teams.
• Strong hands-on background in iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin).
• Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and monitoring in mobile environments.
• Full-stack mindset with API integration and DevOps awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a mobile engineering team.
• Own end-to-end mobile lifecycle from build to run.
• Develop scalable, high-quality mobile apps focusing on performance and UX.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and engineering standards.
• Align mobile with backend systems and enterprise architecture.
• Drive evolution of mobile architecture and tooling.
• Reduce technical debt and operational risks.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, SRE, and Security.
