Job summary

Across Clocks is hiring a Revit Framing & Panel Detailer to support a U.S.-based residential construction business. This technical production role converts residential PDF plans and manufacturer layouts into coordinated Revit models, permit drawings and installation packages.

You will work with Revit and StrucSoft framing tools to develop panel layouts, connections and installation sequences for construction crews, while helping establish reusable libraries and standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling, drafting and construction docs.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and interpreting PDF plans.
• Understanding of cold-formed steel framing and connections.
• Experience preparing framing details, shop drawings, or installation drawings.
• Ability to develop coordinated 2D drawings and 3D models from various sources.
• Ability to create clearly labeled panel layouts and installation sequences.

Responsibilities

• Convert residential PDF plans and manufacturer layouts into coordinated Revit models and permit drawings.
• Develop panel layouts, elevations, sections and details showing panel IDs, dimensions, orientation and connections.
• Create installation packages and sequences for construction crews.
• Work with StrucSoft framing tools and engineer comments to update drawings.
• Establish reusable panel libraries, drawing standards and efficient workflows.
• Organize panels into understandable installation drawings and assembly sequences.

Mid-to-Senior Revit Framing & Panel Detailer

Across Clocks is hiring a Revit Framing & Panel Detailer to support a U.S.-based residential construction business specializing in EPS composite panels and cold-formed steel framing systems.

This is a technical production role involving the conversion of residential PDF plans and manufacturer panel layouts into coordinated Revit models, permit drawings, and detailed installation packages. You will work with Revit and StrucSoft framing tools to develop panel layouts, individual panel drawings, connections, and installation sequences for construction crews.

The ideal candidate understands how prefabricated framing systems are assembled and can produce accurate technical documentation while helping establish reusable panel libraries, drawing standards, and efficient production workflows.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling, technical drafting, and construction documentation.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret residential PDF plans and manufacturer CAD layouts.

Practical understanding of cold-formed steel (light-gauge steel) framing , including studs, tracks, headers, openings, and connections.

Experience preparing construction documents, framing details, shop drawings, or installation drawings for building projects.

Ability to develop coordinated 2D drawings and 3D models from existing architectural and manufacturer-provided information.

Ability to produce clearly labeled panel layouts, elevations, sections, and details showing panel identification, dimensions, orientation, and connections.

Ability to organize individual panels into understandable installation drawings and assembly sequences.

Ability to work with engineering comments, technical markups, and drawing revisions.

Strong attention to detail, dimensional accuracy, drawing coordination, and quality control.

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot routine modeling and drafting issues, and communicate technical questions clearly.

Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with StrucSoft Metal or similar Revit-based framing and panelization software.

Experience working with EPS composite panels, insulated panels, or prefabricated building systems .

Experience producing cold-formed steel framing shop drawings, panel fabrication drawings, or field installation packages.

Familiarity with U.S. residential construction documentation and permitting requirements.

Experience developing reusable Revit families, framing templates, standard connection details, and component libraries.

Understanding of structural framing coordination and preparation of drawing information for engineering review.

Experience producing panel schedules, bills of materials, cut lists, or other manufacturing documentation.

Familiarity with CNC fabrication, roll-forming equipment, or exporting framing data from BIM software.
