Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking a mid-level .NET/Java developer to join a Scrum team focused on modernizing payment systems for banking clients. The role requires strong C#/.NET, Java, Spring, and SQL skills, with experience in modern software practices.

You will work in a hybrid model in Poland (Warsaw/Cracow) and have the opportunity to grow within a European leader in engineering and IT consulting. English proficiency is essential, and banking sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in .NET development (Middle level).
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET, SQL (MS SQL), Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Java (version 11+, preferably 21), Spring Boot 3.4+, Spring Data JPA, JUnit 5, Kafka, REST, Docker, Liquibase, Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Spring Cloud Stream and Avro (nice to have).
• Advanced English language skills.
• Experience in the banking sector (2-5 years) or 2-4 years outside the banking sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating within a Scrum team (8-10 members) to modernize payment systems.
• Implementing best practices in software development, including SOLID principles.
• Contributing to projects for key clients in the banking sector.
