Job summary

Tempo is seeking a Middle Full Stack Engineer to maintain and evolve BI Connectors for Jira Data Center. You’ll ensure rock-solid stability, compatibility, and security for a large user base, tackling complex integrations and data workflows across BI tools.

You’ll own investigations, optimize across multiple databases, and drive improvements in a high-ownership role. Join a global team building trusted Atlassian ecosystem solutions with a focus on reliability and impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack experience in enterprise-grade apps
• Strong backend experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Good command of relational databases and SQL across multiple vendors
• Practical experience with React and TypeScript on production UIs
• Familiarity with Redux/Redux Toolkit and modern frontend tooling
• Understanding of OOP, design patterns and automated testing
• Strong analytical mindset with ownership and autonomy
• Excellent communication in English (B2+)

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues end-to-end; reproduce, root-cause, and ship fixes
• Maintain and stabilise codebase across Jira Data Center versions and DB vendors
• Upgrade dependencies and adapt to new Jira/database releases; address CVEs
• Support customers migrating between environments (Data Center to Cloud)
• Make targeted improvements and enhancements to the product
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to prevent regressions
• Participate in peer code reviews and uphold coding standards
• Work with GitHub Actions CI/CD to keep builds green and releases flowing
• Collaborate with support, QA, PMs, and other stakeholders to document knowledge of BI integrations
