Responsible for translating and localizing subtitles for television shows, films, documentaries, and other media content from English to Spanish. Ensures linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and technical compliance with subtitle standards.
Spanish Proficiency: Native or near‑native (C1/C2); strong grasp of regional dialects and cultural references.
English Proficiency: Strong comprehension of spoken and written English (C1).
Experience: 1–2 years general corporate experience.
Skills: Detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven, and comfortable with media content.
Preferred Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Film Studies or related field.
Experience with streaming platforms and accessibility standards.
Familiarity with tools like Subtitle Edit, Phrase AI, or EZTitles.
