The successful candidate will have native or near-native Spanish (C1/C2), strong English (C1), 1–2 years of experience, and a related degree, plus familiarity with Subtitle Edit, Phrase AI or EZTitles. Remote in Poland.

Qualifications

• Spanish proficiency: native or near‑native (C1/C2) with regional dialects and cultural references.
• English proficiency: strong comprehension (C1).
• 1–2 years general corporate experience.
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Film Studies or related field.
• Experience with streaming platforms and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with Subtitle Edit, Phrase AI or EZTitles.

Responsibilities

• Translating spoken English dialogue into Spanish while preserving tone, context, and cultural nuances.
• Editing subtitles and aligning them with audio cues and visual pacing, ensuring readability and timing accuracy.
• Proofreading and reviewing subtitles for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
• Collaborating with quality assurance teams to implement feedback.
• Ensuring all deliverables meet platform‑specific technical and linguistic guidelines.
