Job summary

Lyten Poland Energy Storage Systems (BESS) team seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive the mechanical development of cutting-edge Li-ion battery solutions for grid-scale and commercial energy storage. You’ll design modules, packs, racks, frames, and enclosures to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Poland and Sweden, engage with customers, and contribute to prototyping and supplier discussions to enable scalable energy storage

Qualifications

2+ years of mechanical design experience, with Li-ion battery exposure.
Strong analytical skills in safety, manufacturability, and serviceability.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for mechanical development of Li-ion battery systems: modules, packs, racks, frames, enclosures.
Interact with customers to understand product use cases and requirements throughout projects.
Brainstorm and develop early product concepts with cross-functional teams.
Design for loads, vibrations, and structural integrity.
Create protective enclosures for environmental resistance and pollution.
Apply design for manufacturability and cost optimization.
Participate in Design FMEA sessions and engage with suppliers.
