Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop enclosure solutions for switchboards from concept to implementation. You will design plastic and sheet metal parts, create 3D models, and prepare detailed technical documentation while selecting materials and production methods.

The role combines design from scratch, cross-technology tasks, and collaboration with multiple departments. Hybrid work in Tychy with occasional trips to Germany are expected, and Polish presence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design or related engineering roles.
• Experience in conceptual design and product development from idea to implementation.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience with plastics and sheet metal processing (bending, punching, hole making).
• Proficiency with Creo; Windchill is a plus.
• Fluent Polish; English B2 required; German B1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop technical solutions from the idea stage.
• Design enclosures for switchboards using plastics and metal components.
• Produce 3D models and technical documentation.
• Select materials and production technologies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews and optimize solutions.
