Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to conceptualize, design, prototype, and analyze mechanical concepts while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work with electrical, software, designers, and human factors teams, contribute to lab and production efforts, and communicate complex ideas to clients and non-engineering colleagues.

Hybrid by design with opportunities to work remotely within Poland and to travel abroad up

Qualifications

BSME or equivalent from an accredited engineering program.
1-3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
Proficiency in 3D CAD design using SolidWorks.
Experience in prototype development and testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components as part of the core project team
Develop and execute proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design concepts
Perform testing and analysis to support design decisions and product development
Collaborate with electrical engineers, software engineers, designers, and human factors engineers throughout the development process
Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-engineering colleagues and clients
Document engineering work thoroughly for both technical and non-technical audiences
Adapt and recommend mechanical solutions based on project and client needs
Contribute to laboratory and machine shop work to support prototyping and production efforts
