Job summary

EPAM Systems in Kraków seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to conceptualize, design, prototype, and analyze mechanical concepts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves working with electrical and software engineers, designers, and human factors engineers, translating complex ideas for clients, prototyping, testing, documentation, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent from an accredited engineering program.
• 1-3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD using SolidWorks.
• Experience with lab and machine shop work in prototyping and production.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components as part of the core project team.
• Develop and execute proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Perform testing and analysis to support design decisions and product development.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, designers, and human factors engineers throughout development.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-engineering colleagues and clients.
• Document engineering work for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adapt mechanical solutions based on project and client needs.
• Contribute to laboratory and machine shop work to support prototyping and production.
