Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to conceptualize, design, prototype, and analyze mechanical concepts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work with electrical, software, designers, and human factors engineers, support lab and production activities, and translate complex ideas for clients and non-engineering colleagues.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent from an accredited engineering program.
• 1–3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D CAD.
• Experience with prototype and production lab environments.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components.
• Develop and execute proof‑of‑concept prototypes to validate designs.
• Perform testing and analysis to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, designers, and human factors engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts to non‑engineering colleagues and clients.
• Document engineering work for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Adapt and recommend mechanical solutions based on project needs.
• Contribute to lab and machine shop activities to support prototyping.
