Job summary

Quest Global Poland is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer – Aviation Domain to model components and assemblies with UG NX10+, perform drafting, and align with customer standards. You will onboard and contribute to engineering tasks with increasing autonomy.

On a path toward developing customer knowledge and CAD skills, you will engage in concurrent engineering for aerospace projects, collaborating with a global team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in CAD modelling and detailing using UG NX10 or above.
• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s or Bachelor’s).
• Experience with Teamcenter-11 or above.
• Knowledge of GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Model simple and complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Perform drafting activities and generate 2D drawings.
• Learn and apply customer procedures and standards.
• Engage in Concurrent Engineering within projects.

Role overview

The selected resource - going through an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate Customer products’ knowledge, working methodologies and CAD skills, when needed - will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

Tasks:

• Modeling simple and complex mechanical components
• Modeling simple and complex assemblies
• Drafting activities
• Learn, understand, and apply our Customer’s standard procedures
• Concurrent Engineering

Work Experience

Key Required

• 1-3 years’ experience in the field of CAD modelling & detailing using UG NX10 & above
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
• Work experience in Teamcenter- 11 and above
• Experience in creating 3D Models & Drawings
• Experience in Engineering Bill of material creation, update and modification
• knowledge on manufacturing drawings creation and drawing reading skills.
• Knowledge on the Geometric dimension & Tolerance
• Familiarity/Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
