Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an MDR Analyst to join our Unit 42 team, focused on customer security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response using Cortex XDR. You will detect, triage, and respond to cyber threats while following established processes and collaborating with global customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a multi-tier SOC or IR role.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM and NGFW.
• Familiarity with cyber-attack TTPs.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of security incidents from detection to remediation.
• Analyze alerts from Cortex XDR and determine root cause and actions.
• Collaborate with global customers to provide security monitoring and response.
• Coordinate with Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering to improve security tools.
