Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an MDR Analyst to join the Unit 42 team in a remote role. You will monitor customer environments, hunt threats, and respond to incidents using Cortex XDR to protect client businesses.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a SOC/IR, strong knowledge of EDR/SIEM/NGFW, and excellent English communication. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver best-in-class security services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a multi-tier SOC/IR role.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM and NGFW technologies.
• Familiarity with cyber-attack TTPs.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of security incidents from detection to remediation and customer communications.
• Analyze and investigate Cortex XDR alerts to determine root cause and response actions.
• Collaborate with global customers to provide security monitoring and response.
• Coordinate with Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams to improve detection and remediation.
• Provide feedback to product, research and engineering teams to improve Palo Alto Networks security products.
