Leads the master data function across parts and supplier domains, establishing governance, data
quality standards and lifecycle controls that support reliable supply chain operations. The role
develops a global team, aligns cross-functional stakeholders and ensures master data enables
compliant, efficient and increasingly automated business processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and develop the master data strategy, governance framework and operating model
across parts and supplier data domains. - Lead, coach and develop the master data team, setting priorities, delegating responsibilities
and building sustainable capability. - Establish data quality standards, service levels and performance measures, and report
progress, risks and corrective actions to leadership. - Ensure master data processes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, applicable
regulations and customer expectations. - Prioritize cross-domain technology and configuration requirements based on business
impact, operational risk and governance needs. - Build effective partnerships across Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Operations, Asset Integrity,Projects, Compliance and other key functions.
- Sponsor continuous improvement, digitalization and automation initiatives that improve data
quality, process efficiency and user experience. - Oversee data lifecycle management, including cleansing, duplicate prevention, maintenance,
deactivation and remediation of quality issues. - Identify and mitigate operational, compliance and business-continuity risks related to parts
and supplier master data. - Provide clear governance decisions and resolve escalations that cannot be addressed within
the operational teams. - Work is primarily performed in an office or hybrid environment.
- Collaboration across international locations and time zones is required.
- Business travel is required as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Management, InformationSystems, Finance or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in master data management, supply chain, procurement operations, vendor management or ERP data governance.
- Strong experience managing master data within ERP systems, preferably with demonstrated
experience across both material/parts and vendor/supplier master data domains. - Demonstrated experience leading and developing global, geographically dispersed teams,
with the ability to set direction, build accountability and deliver results across locations and
cultures. - Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional global stakeholders across SupplyChain, Finance, IT, Operations, Asset Integrity, Projects, Compliance and other businessfunctions.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, lifecycle management and stewardship
principles. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of internal controls, audit, compliance and risk management.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with strong communication and influencing skills in an
international business environment. - Availability and willingness to travel as required to support business needs, stakeholder
engagement,
