Job summary

Trident BMC in Poland is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical (Shipyard/Marine) to lead complex electrical projects in Gdansk. You will coordinate project teams, drive design-phase execution, and ensure timely delivery while working closely with clients and departments.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, shipyard/marine project management experience, and strong cost control and leadership skills. Fluent Polish and English are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate electrical projects within shipyard and marine sector.
  • Ensure timely execution of all project stages during the design phase.
  • Select technologies, machinery and production equipment with other departments.
  • Maintain ongoing cooperation with internal and external clients.
  • Identify, analyze and resolve project-related issues.
  • Monitor progress: deadlines, costs and overall performance.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager – Electrical (Shipyard /Marine) to join our team in Gdansk and support the delivery of complex shipyard and marine projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate electrical projects within the shipyard and marine sector, taking responsibility for assigned projects
  • Ensure the timely execution of all project stages throughout the design phase
  • Be responsible for the selection of appropriate technologies, machinery and production equipment in cooperation with other company departments
  • Maintain ongoing cooperation with both internal and external clients throughout the projects
  • Identify, analyze and resolve project - related issues
  • Monitor project progress, including deadlines, costs and overall performance

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in shipyard or marine project management
  • Strong technical knowledge, including planning, problem identification and the ability to develop optimal solutions and oversee multiple aspects of projects
  • Good financial awareness and project cost control skills
  • Ability to manage a group of employees
  • Fluent or native in Polish and good command of English (both spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
