Job summary

Altkom Software is seeking a Manual Tester for projects in the insurance sector in Poland. You will design test cases, execute manual tests on frontend and backend, report bugs and test results, and contribute to test documentation in an Agile environment.

The role requires about 3 years of testing IT systems, strong testing practices, experience with Postman, Jira and Confluence, SQL basics, and immediate availability.

We are currently looking for a Manual Tester to join one of our teams delivering projects for a client in the insurance sector.

In this position you will:

• design test cases and test scenarios
• perform manual tests based on test scenarios and test cases, in accordance with the test plan (frontend/backend)
• report identified bugs accurately and in detail
• report the results of conducted tests

We are looking for you, if you:

• have approximately 3 years of experience in testing IT systems
• are familiar with good testing practices
• have experience working with tools such as Postman
• have experience preparing test documentation
• have experience working with Jira and Confluence
• have basic knowledge of SQL syntax
• have experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• are available immediately

Additionally, we value:

• experience working on projects in the insurance industry
• knowledge of tools supporting CI/CD processes
• experience working in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS)
• experience using AI technologies
• English language skills enabling you to comfortably work with technical documentation and communicate with clients
