Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Master Data Governance to lead Local Data Stewards and drive MDM operations across regions. You will manage projects, support commercial goals, and ensure data integrity and governance across SAP environments.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of global MDM experience, strong SAP MDG and Material Master expertise, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced medical devices setting.

Manager, Master Data Governance

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Provide operational management of Local Data Stewards in the region.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Fluency (written and spoken) in English 5-7 years of experience in Master Data Management within a global environment
• Strong SAP Master Data and Material Master expertise
• Experience leading teams, projects, or mentoring stakeholders
• Proven background in data migration and SAP implementations
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, QM) and business processes
• Experience with master data governance, data quality, and process improvement
• Ability to manage complex data across multiple systems and geographies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
