Qualifications

  • Understanding IBM mainframe operation and SMF records.
  • Knowledge of mainframe security manager products like RACF.
  • Understanding of security certificate concepts for communication.
  • Solid experience with Linux and/or zLinux.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and network diagnostics.
  • Some experience with Windows OS.
  • Familiarity with Splunk or similar products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve technical issues related to BMC AMI Ops products.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via various channels.
  • Document customer interactions in issue management systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on critical cases.
