Job summary

Ericsson is offering a 1-year internship in Łódź for an LTE/4G software developer focused on C++. You will join our Software Development Team to work on 4G OneRAN products, engage in troubleshooting, and contribute to automated tests.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, help optimize software performance, and gain experience in virtualization and cloud computing. English communication and a proactive mindset are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Technical knowledge: C++, Git, software development, software testing, and software troubleshooting.
• Desirable: OpenShift Container Platform and Cloud Computing experience.
• Interest in AI/ML; initial experience with AI tools in programming/testing.
• Proficient spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to design, develop, and implement 4G OneRAN technology solutions.
• Influence the development of Traffic Control, Baseband, and System functionalities.
• Work on optimization and performance tuning of software components.
• Provide technical support for development teams.
• Develop competencies in a complex technical domain.
• Participate in and drive technical discussions on software quality with global teams.
