Job summary

Ericsson Kraków is offering an internship program for students to join as a RAN Software Developer in the Traffic Control team. The role spans 3 or 12 months and focuses on hands-on development and support within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

You will explore mobile network solutions, contribute to the SW development lifecycle, and learn troubleshooting techniques while collaborating with mentors and senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Understands basics of software development lifecycle, version control (Git) and scripting (Python).
• Programming skills (C++).
• Interest in AI and ML.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive into mobile network solutions and topology of 5G and newer generations; gain experience in RAN domain.
• Participate in the most important steps of SW development lifecycle: study phase, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Learn and apply SW troubleshooting methodologies.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to support investigations and analyses of customer issues.
• Perform fault reproduction and handle configurations in Ericsson's environment; understand RAN SW architecture and 3GPP standards.
• Support digitalization efforts by exploring and implementing AI/ML solutions to enhance efficiency.
