Job summary

Honeywell Warsaw is seeking an LSS Process Automation Project Manager to lead regional projects from opportunity to handover, ensuring on-time delivery and strong financial performance. The role operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days at home) with travel about 30% to Poland and neighboring countries.

You will oversee governance of project scope, budget, and risk, while driving productivity improvements and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in technical/management field.
• Business fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in project management within process automation industry.
• Thorough knowledge of project field operations and financial processes.
• Ability to drive results and overcome obstacles.
• Ability to engage employees with clear, timely information and listen to input.
• Ability to assess risk and take action to minimize it.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in Poland (and neighboring countries) from opportunity development to handover to customer.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within scope, with favorable deviation.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and promptly resolve issues.
• Monitor monthly financial performance and compare estimates to actuals.
• Lead implementation of productivity improvements in project delivery.
• Drive costs down to stay competitive in the market.
• Ensure proper resourcing and inventory/ equipment readiness.
• Participate in estimate reviews to ensure labor estimates are achievable.
• Ensure subcontracts are complete and documented.
• Participate in SIOP/forecast calls with factory planners.

Job description

We have an opportunity for an LSS Process Automation Project Manager m/f/d to join us at Honeywell, in Warsaw, where you execute LSS Projects in Poland (and neighboring countries as needed) to deliver best in class solutions to meet customer expectations and within estimated financial performance. Lead the skills development, information sharing and project management discipline necessary to the deliver Projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins or higher in the region.

This role is on a hybrid schedule, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for managing Projects in Poland (and neighboring countries as needed) from opportunity development stage to handing over the project successfully to customer.
• Ensures delivery of projects on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation.
• Maintains customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues.
• Ownership for Projects financial performance. Monitors financial performance monthly and reviews estimates versus actuals to continuously improve Projects operational metrics.
• Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
• Responsible for driving costs down to become more competitive in the marketplace.
• Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes.
• Drive Remote Migration Services for all Migration projects.
• Enhance utilization of GMSC for all Migration projects
• Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels. Ensures projects are resourced properly.
• Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs being quoted to ensure labor estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective.
• Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented.
• Participate in material SIOP call with factory planners to provide forecast for Backlog and Front log project order demand to factory.

• BS degree or equivalent technical or management experience required.

• Thorough knowledge of handling Projects field operations and financial processes
