Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer focused on QA for the LenelS2 OnGuard system. The role centers on ensuring quality and reliability, with emphasis on regression testing and desktop automation.

This hybrid position requires collaboration with developers within a Scrum team and the development of new regression testing frameworks, while leveraging modern testing tools to identify defects and improve product quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience including automated testing.
• Scripting with Python or PowerShell.
• Familiar with QA automation tools: Postman, JMeter, Selenium, AutoIT.
• Experience with GenAI tools (OpenAI ChatGPT) is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English and Polish.

As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assuring quality and reliability of the LenelS2 OnGuard system. In this role, you will impact the security landscape by contributing to industry-leading solutions which protect and manage critical infrastructure for our clients, enhancing their operational efficiency and safety.

Furthermore, this specific opening is meant for a person with experience in regression testing, ideally with skills related to desktop application automation.

This is a hybrid working schedule (2 days from home and 3 days from the office).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products
• Collaborating with software developers to understand software functionalities, ensuring seamless integration of testing and documentation writing activities as part of a scrum team’s work
• Building new testing frameworks dedicated to regression testing
• Utilize advanced testing tools and methodologies to identify defects and limitations

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in QA including automated testing
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Knowledge of QA automation tools (e.g. Postman, JMeter, Selenium, AutoIT)
• Experience with and willingness to leverage GenAI tools like OpenAI ChatGPT
• Good written and verbal English and Polish communication skills
• Technical background or passion for technology
