Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. Pay is hourly ($25-$27) with weekly paychecks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and documenting patient data to guide care. Prior nursing experience and BLS/ TB clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
