Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in (Insert location) is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and delivering skilled nursing services per orders while monitoring physiologic and psychosocial changes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

LPN/LVN license

TB test or Chest X-Ray

BLS certification

Nursing experience (1 year) preferred
