Job summary

LyondellBasell in Poland is seeking a logistics professional to manage the order delivery creation process for transport and warehousing, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

You will handle inventory checks, process transport orders, coordinate with service providers, support customs and master data in SAP, and help sustain safety and efficiency across the Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in transport & warehousing logistics.
• Fluent English required; knowledge of INCOTERMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, conduct and settle annual and daily inventory checks.
• Process daily transport orders (FTL, PTL, LTL, courier); issue documents and schedule loading.
• Cooperate with logistics providers in warehousing, transport, and customs.
• Support in complaints handling with SCM Poland teams.
• Obtain documents for customs clearance for exports.
• Track invoice payments with Accounts Payable and Logistics Vendors.
• Verify Master Data in SAP with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in weekly 5S, Safety Walks, and EHS activities.
• Collaborate with EHS department to maintain safety culture.
• Manage shipping office activities for transport and customer fulfillment; cover for absent staff.

Responsibility for the accurate and timely execution of the order delivery creation process for transport and warehousing in LYB's entities.

A Day in the Life

• Preparing, conducting and settling the annual inventory as well as the daily fragmentary inventory checks
• Daily processing of transport orders - FTL, PTL, LTL or Courier Service. Issuing transport and preparation documents, loading scheduling if needed, controlling the conditions and means of transport for transport orders, explaining all discrepancies and problems ; consolidation of shipments issued minding cost implications and order fulfillment time,
• Cooperation with logistics service providers in warehousing ,transport and customs agency
• Support in complaints handling related to SCM Poland in cooperation with Complaints and Waste Mgmt. Expert
• Obtaining the documents needed for customs clearance for export shipments
• Invoice Payment manual tracking and handling in cooperation with Account Payable and Logistics Vendors
• Checking accuracy of Master Data in the SAP system in liaison with Customer Fulfillment, Supply Chain Services and the Master Data teams
• Weekly audits in PBO plant (5S, Safety Walks & EHS aspects)
• Permanent cooperation with the EHS department, improvements, monitoring compliance with the rules and Supporting the Safety Culture of LYB
• Person on this position also responsible for managing the overall activities in shipping office related to transport, storage and customer fulfillment.
• Replacement of other employees in Logistics Department during absence
• Carrying out other orders from superiors regarding work in accordance with the law and the type of work specified in the contract.

You Bring This Value

• Bachelor’s degree in commercial area, preferably within logistics
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in transport & warehousing logistics
• Knowledge of International Commerce Terms – INCOTERMS
• Fluent English
• Transport software - Transporeon, UPS Shipexec , ERP - SAP knowledge are extra favorable
• Clear and logical communicator, good listener, fast learner, professional and able to deal with the pressure of time and emotions
• Excellent communication skills to ensure understanding, alignment and synchronization across functional areas of company
• Needs to be flexible and adaptable to work cross functionally and provide support to Supply Chain team members and business partners.
